  • Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) limits the renter's financial responsibility for loss or damage to the Avis vehicle and in some countries third party property damage or injury (if you comply with the Avis Rental Agreement). In most cases, an excess applies and can be reduced through the purchase of Excess Reduction (ER). LDW/CDW may not be available from all Avis locations and is included in most rates in Australia.   • Excess Reduction reduces your financial liability. Our excess reduction varies by age of renter, location, type of vehicle, and rate. Click here for more information. Excess reduction does not cover certain loss or damage (including overhead, underbody, and water damage). Subject to the Avis Rental Terms and Conditions. 
  • Window and Tyre Protection covers you for damage to; front and back windscreens and all side windows; all four tyres, including the spare. 
  • Roadside Assistance covers you for events such as Flat Tyre Assistance, Flat Battery Assistance, Vehicle Lockout Service, Lost Key Replacement and Out of Fuel (up to $10 fuel delivery).
